ASEA Trust Fund

To provide stable, financial security for our Major & Charitable Projects.

DUTIES OF THE CHARITABLE TRUST FUND TRUSTEES

In accordance with State Association by-laws, Article VII, Section 6; “The Alaska State Elks Charitable Trust Fund Trustees are hereby granted and given plenary powers to promote, develop, and administer the said Trust Fund to accomplish its charitable, educational and benevolent purposes and the Trustees be, and are authorized and empowered to receive from source any monies, securities, or other property that may be properly transferred to them, in trust, for the purposes for which Trust is established, to invest the same in such safe securities and other properties, and to sell, transfer and reinvest the same in such manner as shall best safeguard the Trust, and assure the continuity of its income and shall accumulate such money, securities or other property as part of the corpus provided, however, that the Trustees are required to provide funds requested by the Charitable Projects Committee as provided in their current approved annual budget to the extent that funds are available”.

To continue on our pathway of charitable success, the Trust needs your continued yearly support and contributions if we wish to maintain our level of funding for our important Major Project & Charitable Programs. The project and programs funded annually by our Charitable Trust, Elks National Foundation and direct donations are;

  • Youth Camp – Our Major Project

  • Hoop Shoot Program

  • Scholarship Program

  • Drug Awareness Program

  • ASEA Veteran’s Committee

  • VAVS

  • Elks National Foundation Program

  • Americanism Program

  • Wounded Veterans Project

  • WVP Service Dog Program

It should be noted that the Wounded Veterans Project & Service Dog Program are self funded by direct donations from lodges, members, corporate donations and others. It does not receive any funding from the Charitable Trust or ENF allocations.
