About Us

The Alaska State Elks Association, Founded in 1949, as the Alaska Territorial Elks Association is made up of Elks Members from the state Subordinate lodges of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America. The ASEA currently has 15 member Lodges within Alaska and more than 5,100 members. Our unified purpose is to unite all Elks in closer bonds of fraternity, to promote the interests of the Order, provide training to Alaska Elks Lodge Officers, foster the virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity and to further patriotic devotion to the principles of the United States of America.

The State Association organizes committees much the same as the Subordinate Lodges to assist the member Lodges in developing their local programs and performing their fraternal and charitable activities. The State Association maintains a benevolent, humanitarian, and charitable activity to engage the efforts of each subordinate lodge and all members of the Order in the State of Alaska.

The ASEA Major Project is our Youth Camp. The project’s goal is to offer Alaskan youths the opportunity to learn about and enjoy our great wilderness backyard. Funds generated to support ASEA activities in 2019-2020 amounted to $210,874, $130,000 of which was spent on the camp.

The Alaska State Elks Association is dedicated to helping youths and military veterans across the State of Alaska. Our greatest asset are Elks volunteers who continue to support ASEA programs around the state in their Home Lodges.
